How Do I Upgrade Firmware on Netgear AC2200 X4S WiFi Mesh Extender

  • With the Netgear AC2200 X4S WiFi range extender physically or wirelessly connect your computer or the laptop.
  • Pull up a web browser.

How to log in to X4S WiFi Mesh Extender?

After you update your X4s WiFi mesh extender with the latest version of technology, you can log in to your extender’s in order to view and change its settings.

To log into your Netgear WiFi mesh:
  • Launch an internet browser like Opera Mini, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome from a computer or laptop that is connected physically (via Ethernet cable) or wirelessly to your range extender’s WiFi network.
  • Type (default IP address of your range extender) or into the browser’s address bar field and tap ‘Enter’. login will display.

1. Enter the default admin name or email address and password.
2. Click on Log In.

  • Bring your range extender closer to the router. Make sure that your WiFi router is up-to-date.
  • Place your device away from the reach of cordless phones, baby monitors, Bluetooth speakers, metal, electronic, and kitchen appliances.
  • Also, ensure that your devices are plugged in properly into an electrical outlet.
  • Ensure that the LED lights on your range extender are stable.
  • And if they are not, then unplug your Netgear device and plug it in after a few minutes.
  • Clear cache, cookies, and browsing history from your PC.
  • Try using another browser.
